Summary / TLDR - (Full Story Below Photos)
In July 1985, 23-year-old photographer Xavier C. went to Vallgorguina, Spain, and returned about 34 hours later believing only a few hours had passed.
Both of his cameras contained photographs he didn’t remember taking.
Under hypnosis, he described gray, wrinkled humanoids taking him to a cave, where they collected biological samples, and handled his cameras.
He claimed they used his biological samples to create a duplicate of himself, which he later encountered in his car.
Other people reportedly saw someone resembling Xavier while he was missing.
His car returned with unexpected mileage, little fuel, mud, and a strange sticky substance.

The Entire Story:
The Missing Time
At 8:00 AM on Sunday, July 21, 1985, 23-year-old photographer Xavier C. left his home in Barcelona and drove to the Pedra Gentil dolmen in Vallgorguina, northeast of Barcelona, to take photographs.. He brought two cameras with him: a 35mm Olympus loaded with color slide film and a homemade box camera that used photographic plates.
Xavier later recalled spending only about an hour and a half to two hours in the area before beginning the drive back to Barcelona. But when he returned, around 6:00 PM on Monday, July 22.
His wife and brother were reportedly searching for him during these missing hours. Xavier had no memory of where he had been during the missing period. From his perspective, only a few hours had passed, whereas in reality approximately 34 hours had passed since he left home.
After returning home, Xavier examined his cameras. When the 35mm film was developed, several exposures contained unusual images that he didn’t remember taking.
Xavier’s homemade box camera had also been used. Its photographic plates contained dark forms that were later associated with the beings he described during hypnotic regression.
Hypnotic Regression
Xavier later underwent hypnotic regression in an attempt to recover memories from the missing period.
During the sessions, he described being near his car in the Vallgorguina area when a sticky substance began falling around him. He then described encountering several humanoids.
Xavier said the beings were “almost as tall as I am, just a bit less” — and were unclothed. He described their skin as wrinkled and dirty gray. Some appeared bald, while at least one had hair. He repeatedly described their bodies as having a wet or viscous appearance.
He then recalled being taken down a slope and toward a cave.
The Cave
According to Xavier’s recovered account, the beings brought him inside the cave and performed a procedure on him.
He said a catheter-like device was attached to his arm, and he believed it was drawing liquid from his body. He also recalled the beings collecting samples of his hair.
Following the incident, three small marks arranged in a triangular pattern were reportedly visible on Xavier’s left arm. Ribera later reported seeing these marks himself.
The Beings
During the regression, Xavier described the beings handling his cameras.
He remembered them attempting to operate both cameras. He recalled being concerned that they didn’t know how his homemade camera worked and that they might damage the photographic plates.
According to Xavier’s recovered memory, some of the images found on his cameras were taken while the beings were handling his equipment.
The Clone
Xavier recalled being told that the biological samples collected from him would be used to create a clone.
Later in the recovered sequence, he described returning to his car and finding a second Xavier sitting inside the vehicle. He said that the individual had his face, clothing and appearance.
The clone then traveled with Xavier as he drove toward Barcelona. Xavier recalled stopping near the intersection of Carrer de Vallespir and Comtes de Bell-lloc, where the clone left the vehicle.
Xavier then continued home.
Reports of the Other Xavier
Other people later reported seeing someone resembling Xavier at times or places Xavier said he could not account for.
During the period in which Xavier was missing, a neighbor reportedly saw someone resembling him near his home in Barcelona.
Another individual reported seeing Xavier on Avinguda del Paral·lel.
Xavier said he had not been there.
A later report dated November 16, 1985 placed Xavier at a bus stop on Passeig de Colom. The individual was reportedly wearing clothing associated with the original Vallgorguina incident.
Xavier’s Vehicle (Renault 5)
Xavier reportedly kept track of the mileage on his Renault 5. The expected round trip between Barcelona and Vallgorguina was approximately 50 kilometers. When he returned, the odometer indicated that the car had traveled roughly 300 kilometers.
The fuel tank had reportedly been full when Xavier departed and was nearly empty when he returned.
The Renault was also covered with dirt and mud around the wheels and underside. A sticky or viscous substance was reported on parts of the vehicle.

WOW! Just WOW! this story is coming back to me now. You see the fingernails on that Jinn? This reminds me of one of the contacts from Passport to Magonia. A young boy saying he was abducted by a entity who had long black fingernails .
